General Rust discussion is encouraged, but specific console discussion topics are not allowed. Server/EAC/VAC ban discussions / pleas are not allowed. Please don't advertise your plugin, service, or discord server without approval. Abusive, harassing complaints with little substance are not allowed. When posting commits, or tweets of commits, the post title must closely resemble the commit. No naming/shaming posts, including cheaters, streamers misbehaving, etc. No excessive posting of your own content, as per the reddit rules regarding self-promotion - no more than 10% of your submitted links should be to your own content. No trading/selling/buying of goods/services, advertising livestreams, skins, contests and giveaways. We do not tolerate witch hunts in the playrust subreddit. No server admin abuse / server complaints. No server ads, looking for server or looking for group/recruitment posts. Memes are okay, but moderators will use their discretion if/when things get out of hand. Content posted must be directly related to Rust. Whatever tinkering you do, is at your own risk. If It's VAC protected.then it's generally a good idea, not to attempt to alter the game files while playing in VAC protected servers. They're not going to give you a helpful list of files to not "modify" so you don't get banned in a specific game. The forum moderators here aren't also Rust developers.
